APPOINTMENT OF NEW PRINCIPAL

The Board is pleased to announce that we have appointed Mr. Steve Zonnevylle as our new Gleniti School Principal.  We’re excited about the experience, skills, energy and initiatives that Steve will bring to Gleniti.  Some of you may know Steve already as he is currently the principal of Barton Rural School.

Steve officially starts on Monday 16th July 2012 (Term 3) but I’m sure you’ll see him around school before then as he spends some time on site with Paul getting to know the ropes.

The Board spent Saturday interviewing our four shortlisted candidates and this was the culmination of many
hours of preparation over the past few months. From designing applications packs, receiving and vetting CV’s, speaking with referees, developing interview questions and deciding on the interview format, to engaging an outside consultant who assisted and supported us throughout the process.

My thanks to all members of the board for their effort and dedication, I’m very grateful to them for the
many hours of preparation they have put in, over the past few months.  I’d also like to thank Paul for his help and
support during this period.

I know you will all join me in giving Steve a warm welcome to Gleniti School.

Rebecca Dobbs ,Chairperson, Gleniti School Board of Trustees
