  Years 3 & 4 Team Information

This Learning Team consists of three classrooms and these  are numbered Rooms 5, 6, and 8.
Students in this Learning Team are in Years 3 and 4 and are grouped together with approximately the same number of students in each room.  

Class numbers in this area are approximately 22 students in each room.  This Learning Team also groups students according to their
ability and year level for maths and they move from their Home Room to the appropriate room for this.

 The Learning Team works together for a variety of activities and all Education Outside the Classroom activities are undertaken by all rooms. We undertake a swim safe programme.

Each week all students are involved in Interchange for Maori, Health and Music

The Learning Team comes together for Team assembly. We have a roster at lunch times for using the activity wall, adventure playground and table tennis.

Having an Artist in residence means we work with Christeena and are able to watch her at work.

All Learning Teams have access to the attractive Adventure Playground and the P.E. Shed for sports equipment. The students in this Learning Team also take part in Active in Sport with experienced instructors on a rostered basis in the lunch hour.
