Kia ora e te whānau,

With the Easter holidays (remember school is also closed for Tuesday) just around the corner, it’s good to look forward to a break after a busy and exciting first two months of the academic year.

Since our last newsletter, it has been great to see our ākonga / students perform so well at the school swimming sports (ngā mihi nui – a huge thank you to Nic Parmenter and her team of parents helpers, as well as kaiako / teachers for running such a well organised event). Also to represent us all with pride at the PCT Challenge and A & B Grade Touch Rugby championships. Tino pai to mahi – outstanding work everyone!

It’s been a great couple of weeks here at kura /school since our last Newsletter. Ngā mihi nui – a huge thank you to Home & School (formerly PTA) for their outstanding organisation of February 29’sColour Run. The afternoon was a huge success and so much fun for our tamariki / children and kaiako /teachers. The fundraising target is still being confirmed, but we really appreciate your support to purchase important additional literacy resources for our ākonga / learners.

28 February 2024

Ngā mihi nui – a big thank you to those families /
whānau who were able to join us last Wednesday
night for our start-of-year School Picnic. It was a
lovely evening, and a great chance to open up
classrooms as well as catch up for a chat while the
children played. A big thank you to Kate Hunter, Liz
Evans and the House Leaders for the games they
provided.
